Syokimau

It is the dream of every kenyan to own a home, to end the early morning knocks by a landlord. Some people have opted to use the need and desire of others to make quick money. They have learnt the art of advertising and playing cards with our minds. Our government officers have fallen prey of these hungry for money heartless kenyans and ended up ''allowing'' them to operate. It does not make sense for our politicians to fight in parliament while playing populist politics with hard earned money. Hon Wavinya should have acted like the late Hon Prof Wangari Mathaai while fighting for karura forest way before the syokimau plots were sold, but for votes sake she kept mum till the KAA guys came calling. Didn't she know that that land belonged to the airports authority? The Minister of lands, my''learned friend'' James Orengo should have gone many years ago, how do we get title deeds only for you to tell us they are fake? you and your officers in your ministry are a disgrace to Kenyans. One DPM, Hon Musalia Mudavadi should as well stand in the gap for all corrupt officers in the ministry of local government, who are the engineers who authorized the construction of buildings on public land? Our learned friends, ''can you take these officers to court in order for those culpable to compensate them?''
For my fellow Kenyans, it is high time we acted with wisdom, ''when the deal is too good, think twice'', they said. Do not be ignorant while investing. Many have lost millions in such deals both locally and internationally. Remember the pyramids? Vigilance is needed. The minister of internal security, Pro George Saitoti should not concentrate on al shabab only forgetting the thugs within who are printing and forging documents and selling them to kenyans. This is causing a security threat to our country.
As we watch the next move on The syokimau dragon go to hibernation, those who are holding public land should be ready. Land set aside for Railway lines, power lines, road reserves, pipe line, public toilets, public schools, hospitals, markets etc should move willingly before the bulldozers come calling.
